disappointing experience but pleasant outdoor areas
The outdoor space at Rise is lovely and makes for a nice area to unwind. Our Mini King Room near the pool was cozy before and we appreciated the good food and drink by the pool.

A fun stay for groups
They had a kettle in the room, which was perfect to hit that caffeine fix! The pool bar was great to chill at after a long day, but it wrapped up early at 9pm.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess you pay for the experience.

Rise Uptown is a food lover's dream! The rooftop bar serves up killer cocktails, and the popsicle stand is the perfect treat to beat the Arizona heat. Plus, the nearby Chula Seafood is a must-try for fish tacos that will have you coming back for more.
Finding the place can be a wild goose chase since the sign is way up on the building—had to squint to spot it! No outdoor lighting makes it tricky when you’re rolling in after dark.

Had a fantastic time with my buddies! We loved the rooftop bar and the nearby shopping area. The drinks were great, and the decor was just our style. Rachel at the front desk made everything smooth. Just a tip, the hotel offers good breakfast options, and the pool bar is a nice hangout spot.
One downside was the late checkout confusion. We were told we could do it for free, but we were charged an extra $50 when we arrived, which was disappointing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rise Uptown, where the retro decor and comfortable bedding created a good atmosphere. The friendly staff enhanced the experience, although the unexpected $30 experience fee felt a bit unfair. A nice stay in a vibrant part of Phoenix.
